v0.1.3 Patch Notes


Fixes

  • Made the game start quieter (50% volume for both sliders) by default.
  • Intrusion's text where she blocks the player's Abilities will no longer occur when all Abilities are blocked.
  • Intrusion's icons in the Incarnate Select screen no longer uses the wiggly sprite for her hands.
  • Time's eye no longer does the wiggly animation.
  • Several locked Sinner icons no longer have visible white marks.
  • Ability descriptions should no longer occasionally remain visible in the following select screens after winning a battle.
  • The description screen that appears when you hover over your sinner in battle no longer appears in the tutorial.

Additions

  • There is now descriptive text that appears in the bottom-left corner when hovering over both True Damage and Aura Abilities, which briefly describe their generalized effects. (This turned out to be less of a problem to get working than I thought! yay!)
  • Added a skip button to the Ability select screen, for cases where none of the options are wanted. Technically a buff to "Trace Back".
  • Added colors to the ATK and DEF stats in the player statbox. These numbers are now white when unaffected, gold when above the base value, and red when above base value, so you can tell at a glance if you're weaker or stronger than default. The tarots are technically buffs/debuffs but are not counted as such for this mechanic.
    • I debated adding this to the HP and MP values as well, but the colors there would look uglier since they're over a light blue bar. Might still happen, we'll see.

Okay! I think that finally I have gotten the game in a more stable spot. I'll still fix bugs when I see them (I'm sure they're not totally gone), but now I'll be taking a break before getting into adding new stuff.

I still have to chart out for myself what I'll be adding, but you can expect to see the shop updated, another Sinner, and another Ability type in v0.2! To everyone who has downloaded and played the game, thank you! ^_^
